An outstanding full-length film about the relation of a citizen and power in the totalitarian state.
An emotional film essay about the relationship between an individual and power during the reign of then totalitarian regime. Through a mosaic of authentic archival materials, stories of witnesses and staged performances, the film offers a testimony about different kinds of human rights violations in Czechoslovakia. But first and foremost it is an exceptional reflection upon freedom and oppression of human beings.
